Impressions about FLASH

Posted on 14th Oct 2008

I feel like it's been ages since I left Japan, but finally the MA course started yesterday. I would like to write about it later, but anyway,I had to do "pre-induction" work so I had been struggling with FLASH recently. Well, when I was working in Japan, I had no time for creation and also […]

BBC iPlayer, Sky News and London Paper

Posted on 11th Oct 2008

Because I don't have my TV in my room, one of my concern was how I can get everyday information. I usually use BBC iPlayerand Sky News. Although I don't remember how the previous BBC site was, I read an article saying their re-design was really successful. They are broadcasting their programmes of the past […]

The fight against PIN

Posted on 20th Sep 2008

Well, this is not related to London, but... Since I came here, I needed to open new accounts a lot such as bank or mobile. The problem is always password or PIN. I can't remember which one was for what, and I got locked out from the online banking a few days ago, and from […]

!!!

Posted on 19th May 2008

A document which had taken so long to write has lost... It says something like "You are not permitted to access this file" and it has gone. Well, "not being saved" is likely to happen, but completely deleted? I don't believe this. It's like 10years ago...impossible.. I'm so shocked .

Posted on 2nd Apr 2008

As this books hasn't been translated into Japanese, I reluctantly started to read it in English. And finally I finished it!!! John Maeda, a professor at the media labo in MIT, writes about "simplicity". Althought the volume of the book itself it not so big.... ...Difficult! So difficult! He uses a lot of examples of […]

Forgot to buy a milk!

Posted on 16th Mar 2008

Well, you can avoid that by using this tool. Online ToDo management site, "Remember the milk". As I liked its simple interface, and how it connects to other services such as Google, I started to use it recently. I think ToDo management is always critical factor for our works. But actually my ToDo is always […]

iKnow!

Posted on 11th Mar 2008

I have joined another SNS again...well, I don't expect much from its feature as SNS, but it's a website for English leaners. It may be a bit difficult to become a good English speaker only with this, but at least it looks good enough to learn vocabulary. You can remember some words by "repeating" them. […]

Is this iTunes’s bug???

Posted on 9th Feb 2008

I'm enjoying Radiohead on big volume now. An annoying week finally ended. Unknown bugs and errors, working for 33hours without sleeping, argueing with sales reps...Sorry I can't reply to your messages. I don't have much energy on weekdays... Well, now I'm using iTunes but...I can't see the reason, perhaps the recent update, but it changes […]

Macbook air and ham

Posted on 17th Jan 2008

Yes, I had heard a rumor that they would release an extremely thin laptop... http://www.apple.com/uk/macbookair/ So thin! It looks like a elegant cookie which has cream inside it, doesn't it? I feel like I want to buy it, but it doesn't have a disc drive... ...and it made me think of this. Perhaps apple is […]

iThink

Posted on 11th Jan 2008

There is an appli named "iThink" on Facebook. You input your opinions (eg. "Japanese food is the best in the world" etc.) and others agree or disagree with them, and the appli shows how many people agree with you or the compatibility with your friends. Well, the detail doesn't matter, anyway I wrote "Football is […]
